Holiday Recount
WALT: create a recount with a beginning, middle and end.
When people read this recount they should feel interested and excited. This week you are going to create a recount about your holiday, this can be real or made up! Use the class brainstorm from the jam board to help you get started:

Me, my family ,Other friends ,we went to a waterpark,a waterpark in Myanmar ,we went when we were a year 4 or 3 ,we went to Myanmar in a plane and drove to the waterpark. |
| Beginning
What happened first? |
One day we were at a friend’s house in Myanmar. We all thought about going to a very big waterpark so we changed and drove to the waterpark . |

What happened in the middle? |
We finally made it there and we got out. Then we realised me and YiYi didn’t have any swimming togs so we had to buy some togs. |
| End
What happened at the end? |
We had some older friends to body up with. We went on a big slide and we saw a frog in the water. When we finished we ate some food and changed and left but as we were leaving the person at the front counter told us to stop. Because they secretly were taking videos of us so we paid for them and took them home with us . |

How did you feel about your experience? |
I felt really excited but I also felt scared at the same time. |

→ One morning in Myanmar we had nowhere to go so we thought about going to a waterpark my parents started searching it up on google so we could get the GPS for it .Not long after they found the biggest waterpark there is so we all packed our things and put them in the car when we put them all in the car we all went in the car.And put on our seatbelt and drove to the waterpark when we arrived we grabbed all of our stuff from the back and walked inside of the place .
We payed so we could go inside when we went inside we were all shocked to see how big it actually was it had big slides and even had a food bar .We thought it was to big for me and YiYi because we were only little at that time so we had to buddy up with somebody when we were ready we walked to the bathroom and got changed but then we realised that me and YiYi didn’t have any swimming togs so we had to go with my mum and walk to the front of the place .and bought some swimming togs when we had bought it we went back to the bathroom and changed quickly when we had finished we took some photos with our friends .The we headed out and sat down for a bit and making some plans before going in the water when we were finished discussing we walked with our partners and walked down to the water park we saw a mini pool so we went there first and took so photos then my dad and my little brother came with him .
We saw this long pool that had floats so we all went with our buddies there we let our buddies sit down first and we sat on their laps but my older sister went by herself I was very scared but excited too.while we were still on it and was there halfway we saw a frog we got scared so we had to be extra careful not to hit it .But as we got closer we got even more scared so we swimmed away safely but as I thought about it I thought it was really fun.
We next saw this big slide but YiYi went down with her body first and I was to scared so I didn’t go down but then my mum said it was getting late we were getting cold and that its about to close so we all went down from the slide.Then walked to our families went to the bathroom and changed we took a few more photos then walked to the front door then the man stopped us and said sorry but we had some people to talk photos of your guys experience so we thought that was weird but we did like the photos.
So we took them and said thank you and went home. When I went home I kept on thinking about how fun it was .
